Holiday Chinese was created by Zhuang Dinghua, an NUS Business School student with a passion in Chinese history and culture. After noticing the sharp decline in the Chinese language fluency amongst young Chinese Singaporeans, she decided to start an online initiative to help the dwindling Mandarin fluency amongst Singaporeans youths.
